"Interesting but frustrating"

The room was magnificent. The bathroom was also amazing. Location was ideal.

But we were there during the Fallas festival and the front desk staff told us twice to go to a restaurant and a tour meeting place via a route that was not doable due to blocked streets. We were not able to get to the restaurant and were 20 minutes late for the tour as it took an hour for a 10-14 minute walk. The tour left without us and we hade prepaid.

"schitterend historisch hotel met geweldige mensen."

Luxueuze uitstraling, met respect voor de historie van het gebouw. Goed gedaan door de architect. Mooie, gezellige en grote kamer. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Minibar en koffie en thee bij de prijs inbegrepen. Rustig gelegen in een mooi (zeer) oud gedeelte van Valencia.

Zwembad was erg klein en bovendien niet in bedrijf in maart. Benedenverdieping voor restaurantfunctie was wat leeg en ongezellig overdag. Bar was ook niet heel druk bezocht. Ik mistte gezellige bedrijvigheid in deze ruimtes. Verder was een waterkoker voor thee fijn geweest op de kamer. Nu moesten we elke keer iemand laten opdraven voor thee.

"Amazing Staff, Great Location in Heart of Valencia!"

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at the Caro Hotel in Valencia in the days before the Fallas Festival 2026. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the main cathedral and our room was nicely designed and well cleaned. But the true standout here was the staff! We were so grateful to get advice and help with reservations from so many members of the Caro team who were always kind, positive and ready to help. A special thank you to Pauline, Ines, and Giovanna! Even before we arrived, they helped us find the best restaurants and book táxis for my mother with limited mobility. A true gem in Valencia and will be back soon! 🙏 🙏 🙏
