Sakura Edinburgh Guest House

This was a cheap and cheerful guest house. Quite quaint and old fashioned in s sweet way with added touches like extra teas and coffees and toilet rolls to help your self. We had a very friendly and helpful welcome. Our bathroom was along the corridor with its own key so a new one for us but we managed fine. Beds were really comfortable and it was very quite and peaceful during our stay. I would definitely come back if I visted Edinburgh again and the area was great for us with do many fully Vegan places for us right on our doorstep and a 20 minute walk to town and the station and bus stops within minutes walking distance. Thank you we did enjoy our stay overall.

Good price and close to town. The room was clean and staff were helpful.

You get what you pay for. All I needed was a bed for the night. The layout of the single room was a bit zany, but I had access to a clean Shower and Toilet close by. Would certainly go back, but it may be a bit Spartan for others

It was well situated. The sink had no plug. I informed the proprietor, via text message, as I had to be somewhere, and when I returned later, there was one there.

The lock didn't work and the room wasn't secure. The staff were not helpful. It was clean.

The location is great, #30 bus gets you into town center a mile away. The sign out front says “B&B” but more reminiscent of a hostel. The guys there are helpful and friendly but not there all the time.

The place is ok, beds are not confortable, shower tiny and out of the room. Check in is until 8pm but they left us leave the luggage till 3pm only. Have this in mind if this is your plan like it was mine

Very convenient place to say for a couple of days.

Didnt feel particulatly safe as a lone female user. The private bathroom was shared . Warnings to close doors ptppetly as they werd monitoring who comes in and out of the building. Msn in nect foorway smoking weed. No windows, mo daylight!

Clean and good value
