"Dirty. Not an hotel for a holiday."

Location

It was dirty. Unnecessarily so and grubby. We had to ask for towels and a new, clean floor towel as an old, dirty one had been left in the bathroom. Dire breakfast too.

On arrival I was told that I would have a room upgrade with an ensuite shower room at no extra cost, which made all the difference to my stay. Clean comfy, no frills, but for the price, good enough

"An easy going experience."

I liked the host very much. An easy going friendly man. The en suite room I had was clean and quiet and comfortable. Ideally situated for visits to Cambridge city and Duxford Air museum. With good parking for car and bus stops close by. And furthermore 100 yards away Scotsdales. Garden centre and restaurant.

I lived in the Lodge for a fortnight and very little to dislike.
