GBNice old building, the guest accommodation is chalet style, separate to the pub. They were not offering evening meals when we stayed but directed us the pub opposite which had a good pub menu. The staff at the Barrington were very helpful and responsive.
Warm and friendly welcome. Room immaculately clean and tidy. Friendly breakfast service. Hot breakfasts cooked to order.
Lovely area friendly staff, only problem was the bed has wooden sides and a low mattress which means you hurt the back of your legs trying to get out of bed the mattress needs higher.
Room did the job, booked a double bed but got 2 singles. Bed was a bit springy, maybe a mattress topper but overall no issues.

Staff were ok but the breakfast cook could have been more attentive rather than looking at his mobile with his feet up. The room was passable but could have been better decorated. The shower door was broken but useable. The flloring could be fixed. There was no mirror in the bedroom area.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the middle of a nice friendly village.
