Our stay was good. We were in rooms at the back of the pub which suited us well. They were warm and clean. The young man who served breakfast was a credit to the hotel. He was very friendly and attended to our large group of 12 in a relaxed but wfficient manner.
We were visiting friends in the village. Room was nice and warm, staff very helpful, good selection at breakfast. We opted for the full English which was good. Perfect do our stay plus dog friendly.

Central heating didn't work and was provided with a single oil radiator to try and heat borh the room and bathroom toilet kept getting stuck and kept running Window lock did not function and could be opened from outside No net curtains on ground floor rooms with people passing by directly outside window Cooked breakfast tasted good and was presented well, but portion size was small and it was as very greasy with oil dripping off the bacon and hash browns

Poor quality breakfast, stale pastries, could not make a decent cup of tea with only warm water. No hot breakfast available Monday-Friday. The pub tables were all sticky, chairs were worn out.
A good hotel, that served continental breakfast and dinner. The room was tidy and clean with all the amenities I needed. My only complaint was that dinner is not served on a Monday night.
