"Great location!"

8.0

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us leave our luggage there for a week while we traveled to the beach with just a few things. The location is great, the road is a little noisy, but way quieter than other hotels I have stayed in in PP. Highly recommend this hotel!

"Rip off"

Got charged twice for room. Manager knew it was mix up but would not take extra charge off. Place was dirty, sheets stained and did not look fresh.

"Good hotel"

Stayed for 1 night, can't knock this place - really good value. Stayed on the top floor and no lift - stairs are quite narrow, but not a problem for us.

"still not sure if we got scammed."

2.0

We had 2 nights booked for months but when we arrived we were told that there was a problem with the 'government water' in our room so it was not available, despite the fact that approaching the hotel there were tuk-tuk drivers trying to get us to go in and book. They booked us a room at their other hotel which was about 30 minutes walk away and in a much less nice and inconvenient area. We were also told that we could definitely come back and check in tomorrow if we wanted, despite the fact that they did not know when the water would be fixed. I'm guessing that they either over booked the rooms, they let someone extend their stay at our expense, or were trying to keep rooms in the nice hotel open for walk-ins. Maybe it was legit, but I doubt it.

"Comfortable Stay in Perfect Location"

8.0

Diamond Palace II is like a little oasis in an otherwise overwhelming city. Our room was very clean and comfortable, which is important because after a long day of exploring such a busy city you'll want a comfy place to rest. The staff were also super helpful. I gave them my passport to get a visa for Vietnam and they got it back to me the next day! Way better than going to the embassy myself. Tip: if you decide to do this, just double check they write down the correct visa entry date! For the price point I can't imagine a better stay.

"Okay if a 2 star hotel -lacks advertised services"

4.0

On hotel's website: free coffee and tea in room - no coffee and tea. Free breakfast - yes, but food was not acceptable (egg fried rice - no egg served) and tea was warm. superior room - what is a superior room? we got the same room as the cheapest room: free shuttle service - we paid US$12 for going to the airport. Services which mentioned on the hotel's website did not exist. After staying in five hotels over 16 days - I rate Diamond Palace 2 a 2 star hotel - its not a 3 star.

"Good hotel in a good location fo Phnom Penh"

8.0

Right across the street from the King's palace, which will keep you occupied for a few hours during the day and is a must see. Hotel is fairly priced, rooms were clean with working AC's. Good security (front gate was locked at around 11 or so with about 2 people always inside to open it up after a late night. Front desk was able to arrange bus trips to Siem Reap for us with no issue at all. Decent food places and a convenient store are also very close by. Stayed 2 nights, would recommend.

"Visiting Phnom Penh"

6.0

When we arrived they tried to say our room was not available and gave us a small windowless rabbit hutch. We compained that it was not the room we had booked and paid for. It took all of 30 minutes to prepare a room for us so glad we made the complaint. Location is very good, close to the river front, Palace and other sights. You have to run the gauntlet of Tuk Tuk drivers everytime you move anywhere. As a word of warning and nothing to do the hotel, while walking towards the Genicide Museum I had my mini IPad snatched out of my hands by 2 ""young men"!! on a motorcycle. Be very careful!!!
