"Very good boutique, colonial style hotel in the heart of the city"

Wonderful hotel in a very central position filled with beauty. The staff probably the most engaging I have met in my travels.. ever helpful and sublime.. you know who you are! I was fortunate enough to meet the new owners and I wish them all the very best into the future.. They have such a wonderful crew around them , Loved the daily iced tea and chats.

We had the cheapest of the rooms and on occasion was a little noisy.

The building style was individual with high quality uniquely furnished rooms and common areas. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to help with anything.

An old colonial style building filled with charm, situated in an amazing location. Every room has its own name, here you’re not just a number. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming and the place feels like a real home away from home. Special shoutout to Kumar for the George Town 101 and securing us a room with a bath (amazing bath btw!) Breakfast in the Michelin awarded restaurant downstairs is very nice, and although the selection is simple, every request is made fresh and sets you up for the day.

The AC had a bit of a funky smell, maybe time to clean these? Also not the best hotel if you have mobility issues, the only way up and down is via some rickety old stairs, which could pose a challenge for some.

"Old style boutique accommodation close to old town"

Hotel is old colonilal style and extremely well managed. Location is good for old town (about ten minute walk). Room was comfortable, large bed, good air conditioning and a well appointed bathroom. Breakfastalso included and was good range of dishes.
