Location. The breakfast also has good variety and choice for vegetarians and non veg although it is very egg heavy, if you don’t like or eat eggs. We appreciated the daily cordial/juice supplied. The staff are all very friendly and accomodating

There was a terrible smell in our initial room due to local drain works but the staff kindly swapped our room on request on our 3rd night. We had booked top tier room but I think the room given was not what we booked so perhaps double check what you’ve booked. We saw rooms being cleaned that were much more spacious although may not have had a bath. The rooms are also quite dark & difficult to get any natural light into however the wood shutters style is in keeping with the age of the property

The staff were helpful and accommodating. I rwally likex the location and the in-house restaurant.

We loved our stay in this heritage property. Our room (Malaya) was beautiful and very comfortable. We had the beds separated out into twins and there was still plenty of space, including a small sitting area with a daybed. We couldn't even keep up with the generous a la carte breakfast and the daily sweet treats left in our room (although we confess that's because we were indulging in a lot of street food!). Last but not least, the staff deserve special recognition for being so welcoming and friendly, especially Diana and Kumar. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

ALLES! Zum Empfang erhielten wir einen super leckeren selbstgemachten Eistee. Uns wurde auf einer Landkarte direkt das Schönste und Wichtigste von Georgetown eingezeichnet, da wir leider nur 1 Nacht in der Stadt waren. Absolut alter Charme kombiniert mit Moderne, trifft es wohl am Besten! Das Restaurant hat sogar einen Michelin Stern. Das Frühstück war absolut perfekt, man kann a la carte aus verschiedenen Angeboten wählen. Es gibt nicht nur asiatisch! Im Zimmer erhielten wir kostenlose Erfrischungsgetränke und sogar ein Dessert für den Abend, nachdem wir das Zimmer kurz verlassen hatten. Unser Gepäck konnten wir selbstverständlich Zwischenlagern nach Check Out Zeit. Die Lage ist perfekt zentral und man findet in wenigen Gehminuten eine Mall, streetfood, schwimmende Märkte am Wasser und lokale Kunstgeschäfte. Wir fühlten uns super gut aufgehoben und behandelt wurden wir sie Könige. Es hätte nicht besser sein können. Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht bleiben konnten.

The staff were exceptional! They mapped out areas for us to visit and get around town. Every evening they had a complimentary homemade dessert for us as well as a carafe of lemon tea and fresh water in our refrigerator. There is a beautiful terrace on the top floor and a library on the 2nd floor. The breakfast was the best ever! They even packed us a to go breakfast when we had to leave early for a flight. It was excellent! I can’t say enough about this great hotel!

The doorway was small but quaint.

In the heart of historic Georgetown is the quaint boutique property The Campbell House. We loved our stay! Greeted every day with a big smile and so much hospitality by the staff, especially Andy and Kumar! Service and cuisine in the restaurant top notch! Huge room very comfortable with lots of character. We loved the library and terrace for coffee and reading/napping after walking all around Georgetown. So many great places close by and the staff at The Campbell House won't steer you wrong!
