The Pines Hotel

Position and view from the balcony. The staff particularly in the restaurant were very pleasant and accommodating. Overall a most enjoyable birthday break for my wife and I. I have heartily recommended it to my friends and family.

I couldn't fault the Pines at all.

I'm a big guy so the entrance to the bathroom was a little tight.

Breakfast on the Monday was a shambles No usual cooked breakfast where you could help yourself. Nothing prepared, cooked or available Advised to order from the menu only when we asked about it. Information wasn't shared freely My eggs benedict although ok was absolutely swimming in hollandaise resulting in soggy food A sorry end to a lovely stay

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a lovely location. Excellent breakfast. Charged up the car every night.

Beautiful location

I liked everything about the property and would definitely return, the only negative was the room was very hot.

The bed was very small, the duvet was poor but luckily there was an extra bed in the room. It should be marketed as two single beds

The staff. This is an exceptionally friendly hotel and everyone seemed to be dedicated to making sure that guests were happy.

There is a problem of privacy with regard to the balconies. The lack of a proper division between the balconies means not only enforced intimacy with unknown neighbours but - MOST UNNERVING - neighbours can see right into the adjacent room.
