Breakfast was an issue - we'd agreed to have room service breakfast as we needed to eat before breakfast was officially being served. At 7.20 when it was due to arrive, nothing. 7.30 - nothing. I went down and was then told that we had to come down to eat it, baring in mind we now have literally 5 minutes before we had to leave for our film shoot. This was annoying as it was only cold breakfast materiels too. The lady who then served us wasn't welcoming at all, and was almost blaming us for the mistake - she took 0 responsibility and was a bit rude seemingly not caring the hotel had made the mistake here and not understanding how thats now put us on the backfoot before our film shoot, which was frustrating.

Lovely staff, cleanliness of hotel, superb location for walks and sea swim. Nearby Swanage for cafes, restaurants and shops. Breakfast plenty of choice, fresh and cooked to order.

Price is quite high for room. Not a criticism, just a reflection. However, it will probably be cheaper if booked well in advance. And it was out of peak season.

The presentation through out the hotel is excellent. The facilities are kept to a high standard by regular maintenance. The staff work well as a team and present as very happy to serve the visitors. It is good to note that the environment is key part of the ethos of the hotel. The surrounding properties are all residential and the car park well ordered to avoid overspills that might disturb them. It even has a tyre pressure point.

Liked it so much we booked to stay again.

Second stay the room looked over the car park which occasionally was noisy with hotel deliveries.
