Espectacular hotel en un entorno tranquilo y muy cerca de la playa y de Jose Ignacio. La atencion maravillosa y el desayuno espectscular. Se preocupan mucho por los huespedes. Ofrecen bicicletas, servicio de playa,etc. Muy recomendable

No nos convenció el sistema de desayuno ya que no era Libre y era acotado . El colchón estaba vencido .

We arrived in La Viuda on 30th dec at 9.30pm. We were greeted by Havier and Riccardo. They were very welcoming. Immediately made fresh food for us. The hotel is a hidden gem in a beautiful part of amazing country. During our stay Osvaldo could not do enough for us. Suggesting restaurants to dine at, making reservations and ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. The hotel thought of everything for a most relaxing stay. Everyone appears to really enjoy their jobs. Hot tub in our room, sunloungers by the pool, bicycles to ride into Jose Ignacio. The cakes were delicious. Daniel and other waiters did a super job at breakfast. The idea of breakfast st any time is nothing we have heard of before what a super idea when one wants to relax on holiday and not live ny he clock. Anything we wanted was granted. We certainly recommend La Viuda. Ricardo Osvaldo and team continue your excellent work.

A diária do hotel é muito cara para o que é oferecido, a toalha estava furada, a banheira não havia sido limpada adequadamente e o café da manhã servido a la carte tem poucas opções.

Chambres spacieuses, bien équipées, environnement de l’hôtel superbe avec un beau jardin et une piscine très agréable. Vue sur la mer accessible à 400 m avec une plage splendide. Les propriétaires sont charmants et de bons conseils pour les visites, bars et restaurants Enfin le petit déjeuner est excellent.

We only stayed one night but the hotel is marvellous. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating with multiple questions and constantly changing request from our group and the rooms while simple were clean and comfortable. Our visit was out of season so the exterior was a bit weather beaten but understandable when you are 5 minutes from a magnificent Atlantic Ocean beach. Loved it’s mid century style, the location and the relaxed ambience. Our host was very helpful and advised us on a brilliant bar and restaurant while friends in another hotel locally were told everything is closed and went to bed hungry.

We spent a week at this small hotel at the peak of tourist season. It is located on the outskirts of town. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful in giving us suggestion on what to do, where to go and made reservations for us at wonderful restaurants.

We visited Jose Ignacio to celebrate a friend's wedding and stayed a few kilometers outside town at La Viuda de Jose Ignacio. We loved it! We were welcomed warmly by the owner, Ricardo, who treated us as honored guests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and filled with lots of light. There was original artwork throughout the hotel, and a welcoming sitting area downstairs where you could read magazines or buy some local wine to enjoy. We ate a leisurely breakfast every morning on the beautiful garden terrace and felt so relaxed. I don't know if it was the sea air, the comfortable bed, or being so far removed from it all, but I don't think I've ever slept better than I did the several days we were at La Viuda de Jose Ignacio!
