Brookside Lodge

The bed was comfortable and the location.

There were bugs crawling all over the floor. Balcony and chairs on the balcony were filthy. Spider webs all in and around the ceiling. The toilet and toilet seat was loose. The stopper in the sink was broke. The room did not have good lighting. One of the lamps was broken. The room needs to be remodeled.

We liked the river and the hot tub.

The pool and location

The main access door to our room would not lock — we had to place our cooler in front of the door to keep our family secure. Black bears are numerous in this area and we felt unsafe as we could not fully secure our door. Also, our room was not clean and our patio was also not touched by housekeeping and only had one chair.

The balcony and sound of the brook were my favorite parts.

Tobacco smell in the bathroom was awful.
