Albergo Rossini 1936

The staff was amazing. Very helpfull and kind. The bathroom smelled (shower, sink, bidet), we let the staff know and they tried to fix it but it didn't help sadly. Also the airconditioning was very weak. The room stayed warm so sleeping was uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice. Area was unpleasant but it was close to the center which is nice. The room was also very small.

This tiny hotel hidden on a side street exceeded my expectations by a mile. While small, my room was spotless and it had all of the amenities I needed for a brief stopover in Bologna. It is within walking distance of several lovely local restaurants and bars, and is about a 15-10 minute walk from Bologna train station and a 10-15 minute walk from the center of old town. The staff were so very kind. Upon arrival, I had a handwritten note welcoming me to the hotel and encouraging me to ask the front desk for anything I needed. I ordered a glass of wine at the bar, and the front desk person wouldn't let me go back to my room without a tray full of chips and nuts to go with my wine. The breakfast was lovely - a buffet with pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and egg and hot dishes made to order. I stored my luggage there and the staff called a taxi for me when I needed to go to the airport. Although much of this is standard procedure at most hotels, everyone I spoke to was smiling and eager to help me with any small request. The price was very very good and I am looking forward to my next visit already.

Our stay was only one night however, the hotel was very clean, and the room had all the essentials. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We walked to some of the larger attractions nearby and enjoyed a cute brunch spot just a few minutes away!

We had a wonderful stay at this well-maintained hotel, perfectly located on a quiet street in the heart of Bologna. Despite being so central, it’s peaceful and relaxing, a rare combo. The rooms are spotless with crisp, high-quality linen, and breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Being right in the city center meant we could walk everywhere without needing a ride. A perfect base to enjoy Bologna in comfort and style.

Came here on a girls’ trip with my friends and this hotel is a total win in terms of location, comfort, and service. It gave us instant access to shops, cafes, nightlife, and all the major attractions. We didn’t even need a taxi most of the time, everything was just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond, fulfilling every request we had. They made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The rooms were clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet considering the central location. Great lighting, comfy beds, and thoughtful little touches made it feel like home. Also, shoutout to the mirror that doesn’t fog up small detail, but clutch when traveling with friends!. It strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience. We’ll definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of visiting Albergo Rossini 1936 in Bologna, and our stay exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is charming and well located, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. Never before have we met such smiling, welcoming and friendly hotel staff – they created a warm and homely atmosphere from the first moment. We felt truly welcome and well taken care of. We can only give our warmest recommendations and would love to return!

Great and clean rooms. Very kind staff. Fantastic breakfast, nothing to reclaim. very central and close to all sightseeings.

Super clean and organized. Really great breakfast and I can’t stress enough how good it is and how out of their way the staff goes to get you to start your day well. My son doesn’t go for breakfast and after two days of just me and my wife showing for breakfast they noticed and suggested we take a plate with food to the room so he could eat it there. First time it ever happened to us. Staff always smiling and helping us out in anything we needed. Cleanup of our room top notch. Great air conditioning even in very hot weather. Very good location being walking distance to all places we wanted to visit. Definitely staying here again in the future trips to Bologna.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place truly deserves it. I came to Bologna for a business trip and ended up loving this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were super friendly, helpful, and always available. You can really feel the warmth in their service. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city centre. I’ve stayed at many hotels, but this one stands out. It inspired me to come back with my family next time. Totally worth it. I love it.
