Brunton House Guest House

Can't ask much more! The location was super, everything very clean, the mattress and pillows very comfortable. Paul was so helpful that he even gave me a box of paracetamol when I sent him a message late at night! Saved the night and made the stay fantastic :)

Host was excellent, we arrived early and was allowed to leave car whilst we went for a walk into clacton. The room was perfect everything you needed, and the mixture of preserves and spread with fruit and bread etc perfect for a continental breakfast. Tge bed was very comfortable 😌 and tge location was perfect just a 5 minute walk to centre of town. Will most definitely be staying here again 10/10.

Very nice guest house. Good location and ideal for a short break.

The room was clean and well-kept. Breakfast consisted of sliced bread, cereal/granola and a mix of condiments as well as fresh fruit. The milk was replenished as needed. It was nice to have a toaster as I like toast on mornings. The room was tidied every day and the dirt dishes taken away and replaced with clean ones, the rubbish was cleared as well. It was also good to have some free parking and it was a short walk to the pier as well. The owner/hostess was lovely and made us feel very welcomed in their guest house.

The bathroom was rather narrow (we stayed on the ground floor) and the sink was really small with a shelf over it, so brushing teeth was a comical event. On the first and second days, the room was very cold. It warmed up on the last day. I would suggest having another duvet available in the room for the colder days/nights.

Lovely room bright and clean. Good selection for continental breakfast in your room. Owner very friendly and helpful. Well worth a stay.

Lovely spacious clean room with ensure bathroom and generous continental breakfast. Host lovely kind gentlemen. Other guests friendly. I felt very safe and relaxed during my stay.
