The seasonal pool will be open from July 12 to August 31. The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. Alcohol is not permitted at this property. "A wonderful quiet getaway."

The quiet setting of Nanten-en is great for relaxing, with a beautiful garden and onsen. You wouldn't realise that Osaka is just a short train ride away. The staff were amazing, and able to cater for dietary needs (gluten free). There is easy access to nature, and to Koyasan from Nanten-en.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. It's so convenient to get to, yet still placed in the middle of the mountains and great for getting into nature and relaxing away from the city. But you're only 8 minutes away from a smaller city and 25 minutes away from a larger city.
