Amami Onsen Nanten-en

Beautiful, serene, restful place. Wonderful Onsen. Amazing food! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Rewelacyjna kolacja!!

ریوکان ساکت و آرام بدور از شلوغی شهر . بسیار نزدیک به ایستگاه قطار. مکان بسیار عالی بود. در ابتدا با چای سبز مورد استقبال قرار گرفتیم. اتاق ما رو باغ با حیاط اختصاصی بود. لباس و کیمونو در اختیار گذاشتن. استخر معدنی بسیار تمیز، تراس زیبا، شام بسیار خوشمزه و عالی بود. منظره جنگل خیلی خوب بود. صبح با صدای پرنده ها بیدار شدیم. امکان کرایه دوچرخه و ماجراجویی داشت. اگر دنبال عکس گرفتن اختصاصی و دونفره هستید حتما اینجا بیایید لوکیشن عکاسی بسیار خوبی دارد. توصیه میکنم برای یک شب هم شده اینجا بیایید ضرر نمیکنید.

Très bien accueilli, la chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Les équipements étaient excellents. Le repas était très bon, bien qu’un peu long. J’ai apprécié le onsen.

Au vu des photos, je m’attendais à un jardin zen beaucoup plus vaste ; le domaine n’est finalement pas si grand. Le jardin avec le pont visible sur la photo se trouve juste devant notre chambre, ce qui laisse peu d’intimité. Il est également dommage qu’on ne nous ait pas proposé de café pour le petit-déjeuner ni de plats sucrés.

Dette er et vakkert, japansk sted - litt utenfor allfarvei, men rett ved togstasjonen så det er lett tilgjengelig. Stedet er godt organisert og har imponerende mat. Alle gikk med "kimono". Hadde foretrukket å ha privat bad/ toalett.

The bath was amazing.The staff was great too and recommended a restaurant close by where we had perhaps the best pizza outside of Italy for lunch while we waited for our room. The 11 course dinner was good too offering a wide variety of Japanese cuisine.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not to our liking. We would have preferred a North American option( coffee was offered at an additional 700 yen per cup) . Early check in was offered at an additional 5000 yen per hour which seemed unreasonable. We also had a shared bathroom which was not expected for the price we paid.

Amazing stay at this traditional ryokan. Amami is a quiet, charming town with a few small shrines within walking distance. The food at Nanten-en was incredible, truly authentic Japanese cuisine. The staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Gary, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He knows a lot about the town and the ryokan and answered all our questions with great enthusiasm.
