Amami Onsen Nanten-en

Our room got upgraded to the hourai room which was spacious and had a lovely view of the garden.

The hot spring is essentially a big public bathtub

Le lieu est très agréable et le personnel super. Les repas servis en chambre sont copieux et très bons. La salle pour le petit déjeuner très plaisante et le onsen face à la forêt est très reposant. Un ryokan apaisant.

L'auberge est située un peu loin d'Osaka et de Koyasan. Notre chambre était située du côté de la gare et nous entendions régulièrement (même la nuit) les indications sonores prévenant du passage du train.

Courtesy, kindness and professionality. An amazing place, the best ryokan we have been since we landed to Japan. Close to the train station, surrounded by mountains and extremely good food.

We only stayed for one night. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed a Kaiseki dinner, which was both beautiful and delicious :) Very conventionally placed close to station as well
