La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel

The staff was so exceptionally helpful. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.

We rented a two bedroom apartment (separate from main building) and it was spectacular. We had more space than we needed, but it was nice to be able to spread out with the family. We had breakfast daily (for a fee - which was a little high, but convenient and delicious) and a dinner at the restaurant (absolutely delicious). The area can be dangerous at night - we were told many times not to walk the area after dark - but they have security cameras and even a security guard that escorted us back to our apartment after dinner at the main hotel building. During the day, the area is charming. The service was impeccable!

The hotel was really beautiful and in the heart of the historical section of the city. I was in Ecuador during pretty heavy curfew and other restrictions but the staff was really accommodating and worked really hard to ensure I had a good time but within the rules. They arranged private drivers and activities and gave me advice. It all felt very safe and well organized. I had a very nice, clean, and spacious room that I was very pleased with. The bathroom was also massive and had modern features. The inside of the hotel is beautiful like the pictures show. I had dinner a few times in the hotel and was really impressed with the food. I would recommend dining there with the mix of Ecuadorian options and wine! I hope I can come back soon! Thank you for everything.

I give this hotel a 5 star review, we stayed for 5 nights at the hotel in mid December 2020. The room and hotel were impeccable, the staff and manager surpassed every expectation and even prepared a meal for us when we arrived late. The hotel manager Aaron was having a special event and included us to this invitation only event that was hosted at the Santa Dominga church, we were escorted to and from the church and were treated like royalty at the event. The hotel location is close to old town and within walking distance of many sites. Aaron helped us arrange a driver for a day trip outside of Quito that worked out perfectly. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel ambiance and facilities were all excellent. I have no qualms or reservations in highly recommending this hotel to stay at while visiting Quito

Gorgeous hotel, great location, friendly staff. Would like to have stayed longer

The hotel is in a beautiful, old building. There are lots of unique small touches that capture the character of the period. The staff was also very accommodating. We arrived at around 8 am after an all night flight, and they provided early check in. They also helped us arrange transportation around the area.

We loved everything about our stay--it's a beautiful and well located hotel, with amazing and comfortable common spaces and gorgeous, comfortable rooms. Our room had a beautiful view and even though it overlooked the street, it was completely quiet with the window shut. The bed/bedding was excellent and the rain shower featured plenty of hot water. Most outstanding was the service--everyone who worked for the hotel was a consummate professional, doing all they could to provide the best possible experience. Five stars!

Great little oasis in an otherwise unimpressive city

We spent two nights at this property on a first-time visit to Quito. Beautiful courtyard and comfortable rooms with friendly staff. About a 10-minute walk (uphill) from the main plaza. Great view of El Panecillo hill.

La Casona de la Ronda is one of the most charming and delightful hotels I've ever stayed in, a wonderful, historic building with friendly helpful staff, in the heart of Quito's fabulous historic district. I hope I'll have a chance to go back someday and spend more time there.
