La Casona de la Ronda Boutique Hotel

There was a tap in the hallway from which you could refill the jug in the room so as to have drinking water without having it bottled. This was convenient and allowed one to help oneself. The staff was quite helpful in making suggestions. The room was spotless. Great location.

The hotel was lovely, but located on a street that did not always permit taxi access. Also it was located in a hilly area,so if you have breathing issues (as I do) this would not be a good choice.

What a beautiful and charming hotel in the very heart of Quito’s old town! The location couldn’t possibly be any better — when you step outside, you’re in the center of it all. Our room was large and tastefully decorated, while the common area was beautifully Ecuadorian. This hotel felt authentic — much preferred to an international chain that will leave you wanting more in terms of cultural flavor. Don’t forget to visit “El Mirador,” which is a beautiful lookout and lounge area up a spiral staircase at the top of the hotel. Perfect for reading a book or just relaxing. The breakfast was also good — simple but satisfying, with an option to order a freshly made omelette. We would stay here again!

The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They arranged a driver, Alex, for us during the day and he was fantastic. The daily breakfast provided plenty to eat including personal omlets. The courtyard was unique and there was an upstairs room where we could sit and see a view of the local mountains. The friendly hotel manager spoke with us during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

This property was gorgeous and centrally located. The rooms were clean, breakfast delish, and staff very helpful.

We were with three other people and no one had a working air conditioner and no fans were available. The front desk help seemed very inexperienced. On the good side the hotel was nice and within walking distance of the main square in Quito.
