Property Notes

When booking more than 5 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. The tax is applied per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. According to Peruvian law (Law No. 28194), cash is not accepted for payments from PEN 2,000.00 or USD 500.00. These currencies must be settled by credit card or other methods approved by the hotel and Peruvian Law. Payments cannot be split between currencies. In accordance with the new provisions in force as of April 17, 2021 (DS No. 005-2021-MINCETUR)For the entry of minors accompanied by one or both parents, it is mandatory to carry the passport or identity card of the minor. It is also a requirement to present at the hotel, the birth certificate or birth certificate; as well as passport or identity card of the accompanying parent, as appropriate.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. This is honestly an amazing hotel. The convent has been beautifully restored and everywhere you look it is gorgeous. The hospitality of the staff was incredible and they have so many thoughtful touches. Breakfast focuses on local and interesting ingredients and room service portions are generous. We loved it

"Family visiting Cusco"

Wow! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff were extremely kind! We enjoyed the pool, our private balcony, the hotel’s food and the kindness of Saul (our favorite staff member). The location of the hotel is also perfectly located and well staffed for any help you might need. My son got altitude sickness the first evening and I was very grateful for Saul’s (and other staff members’) concern for our son. The special attention we received was one of a kind. This place is worth the extra money! Our family enjoyed our stay and made fun memories.

"Amazing stay"

The grounds are absolutely stunning — peaceful, lush, and beautifully designed. Every turn reveals a new, charming corridor or hidden garden that makes you pause and take it all in. The on-site restaurant was excellent. Our room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect, and the service from the hotel staff was genuinely outstanding — warm, attentive, and thoughtful from start to finish. We left feeling completely relaxed and cared for. I truly hope to return one day.

"Outstanding!"

What an amazing experience! Property and amenities were top notch and service was impeccable. Our butler, Saul went above and beyond our expectations in making us comfortable and taking care of all our needs. He is truly a gem! Yecela and Marle at the spa were also outstanding. We had such a great experience that we booked treatments with them on the following day as well. Overall an exceptional stay- would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cusco!
