Enrich, the proprietor was extremely helpful & went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. He went the distance to acclimate us with the area during this bust summer season.
Enrico was so helpful with tips about Cinqua Terra. We spent time in four of the five villages and enjoyed every minute!!! We would highly recommend Hotel Del Sol.
Enrico was a great host! He provided detailed directions to the hotel and handy maps and advice on the trails. Breakfast was excellent as well!
We loved our stay at Hotel del Sole. The owners are very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bathroom was a bit small but well equipped. Breakfast was terrific and the fresh fruits was a plus. For travelers with heavy luggage or do not want to walk, you should ask the owner about the city's shuttle bus service as the walk from the train station is uphill for most hotels.

Pros: Good location, quiet, friendly service. Cons: Quite overpriced, too soft mattress (making a hole under your weight - I am not fat), light coming in in the morning despite the shutters (curtains totally transparent).
One of the few hotels in Cinque Terre that has parking (not free but cheap). Enrico emailed us to confirm in advance if we wanted a car space or collection from the train station. It was good to have contact details as there are barriers to the town so you do need to call ahead for access with a car. The hotel was easy to find and Enrico and his wife were happy to help and provide details about the town. The bedroom was comfy with good aircon and a rooftop view of the town as you climb up some steps to get to the rooms. Lovely jasmine everywhere. Breakfast is continental so no cooked breakfast if that's what you are after. Maps are provided for walking and Enrico is happy to provide details. There is also wifi should you have children!
The hotel is UP the hill but very nice and clean and quiet with good AC
This was a friendly hotel with good service. It is a steep trek with luggage up the hill from the train to get there. Convinient stay for the area.
Helpful staff as well as having a great mountain view made this place a good one. Enrico was very helpful and could communicate really well in English.
