The owner Enrico was hospitable and very friendly. It was great to have our own patio with a view. Rooms were satisfactory and so was breakfast but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I also appreciated that they were able to provide gluten free products. A/C was good. So was security.

Overall great place to stay. The bedding is a little dated, but they do a great job at keeping the room clean. Pretty spacious compared to some of the other hotels in Italy. It is a short walk going down hill to the local attractions, therefore the walk back to this hotel is all up hill in addition to what level you are staying at Hotel Del Sole.
The Hotel del Sole is an ideal place to stay to enjoy the delights of the Cinque Terre - Riomaggiore is a lovely village with great restaurants and the railway is very convenient and easy to use. The hotel's owner Enrico is charming and extremely helpful, always willing to advise about the area and the various walking trails. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is brilliant - clean, quiet and comfortable, breakfast was also good. Secure parking is a bonus.
We arrived 5-minutes after booking a ugh at Hotel del Sole and we pleased to find our room was ready immediately. The owner was helpful and took time to show us the area on a map, allow us to park on the property for €15/night and walk us to our room and explain the locks. Breakfast was great and my cappuccino was amazing. The town is lovely and this location is great if you’re willing to walk a lot but don’t want to haul your luggage on the side of the hill.
Extremely nice staff. Only suggestion is that jasmine bushes near stairs and rooms need to be trimmed...lots of bees too close to walkways. Otherwise, very nice room.
We were very happy to stay at Enrico. It was very comfortable, peaceful, beautiful. Enrico took time to give us very helpful & interesting information on the walks. It couldnt have been better.
Great comms prior to arrival so easy to find. Location is great (up steep hill of course) and the rooms lovely. We had a great terrace outside with super views. Really peaceful. Breakfast was good and varied and Enrico added some extra vegan goodies which was really thoughtful. Lots of useful info provided at check in too.
Enrico was very friendly and helpful in advising us about walks, trains and buses
Enrico and partner were friendly and hospitable, i enjoyed my stay very much. Their breakfast is heartily great too , fuels me well for the hikes around the area.
