Hotel Sansicario Majestic

Il buffet della colazione era ben assortito, frutta fresca, molte proposte dolci e salati, diversi tipi di pane, cereali, molta attenzione per le intolleranze a lattosio, uova e glutine. La cena era da prenotare tramite un QRcode che proponeva diversi piatti per ogni portata (antipasto/ primo/ secondo/ dessert). Camera: il letto era bello grande e materasso ottimo. Abbiamo dormito benissimo! Il personale MOLTO GENTILE e DISPONIBILE, un ottima squadra (molto affiattata) per l'intrattenimento di grandi e "piccoli" (il dreamteam). Noi non avevamo figli piccoli ma ho visto com'erano seguiti e gestiti, complimenti! Ottimo servizio navetta tra albergo e base impianti sci / centro commerciale. Strade pulite anche con 2 giorni di neve fresca😅

Sul sito di booking c'era scritto che gli animali erano ammessi MA una volta pagato ho ricevuto il regolamento di BLUSERENA che specifica SOLO cani e di al massimo 10kg (noi avevamo 1 cane di taglia media e 1 gatto). Alla fine non ci sono stati problemi (e abbiamo visto anche cani decisamente più grandi - forse da rivedere il regolamento?). Supplemento per il cane 22€/giorno. Ci hanno dato una "dogroom" che non aveva niente di speciale per un cane a parte una ciotola (che abbiamo dovuto chiedere per 3 giorni prima di riceverla). Il cane non era amesso nella sala ristorante (non segnato sul regolamento ma scritto da qualche parte in piccolo sul sito web dell'albergo come ha fatto vedere la reception). Abbiamo quindi fatto colazione a turno e ci siamo dati il cambio per la cena visto che il nostro cane non è abituato a stare chiuso in camera da solo (per evitare che abbai troppo e che facci disastri) a parte 2 sere che la reception ho proposto di tenerlo☺️ Colazione: inizialmente c'erano 3 macchinette per il caffè e altre bibite calde ma 1 non era mai accesa (e dopo 3 giorni è stata tolta) più una macchinetta per solo caffè (ma mancava sempre il caffè e dopo 3 giorni non è più stata accesa). In alternativa si poteva chiedere all'angolo bar (dentro la sala ristorante). C'era quindi sempre una coda lunghissima ai diversi punti e la quantità di caffè erogato era sempre molto limitato. Cena: il servizio era molto caotico e spesso lento. La prima sera è stato un disastro totale. Proposte molto varie ma non sempre di buona qualità. Molti prodotti sono surgelati. Il centro wellness è molto piccolo, il prezzo per il servizio proposto è eccessivo. Gli accappatoi forniti dall'albergo sono solo di taglia unica e quindi decisamente troppo piccoli per una persona grande e/o robusta.

The most important shortcoming of this hotel is the restaurant. Unfortunately, we found it to be extremely disorganized and inefficient. Service was very slow and the food was low-quality. I hope the hotel management fixes whatever went wrong here because it constitutes an important part of the overall experience.

IL caldo in camera e il bagno sufficentemente pulito. Il personale in generale che cercava di fare del proprio meglio.

Centro benessere sottodimensionato e a pagamento ( 25 euro un furto ). Acqua della piscina gelida. Servizio ristorante pessimo e disorganizzato ( per 2 sere consecutive hanno smarrito le nostre comande, serviti 2 antipasti su 8 persone al tavolo in 2 ore ). Cibo pessimo ( pasta stracotta, immangiabile, condita con ragù e sughi di pessima fattura e qualità ). Per altre pietanze, stendiamo un velo pietoso

+ Big room, clean, nicely decorated, huge windows. Excellent food, so varied and delicious, super careful staff and very attentive to us, having a small child. It really is something else to have half board in Italy, the food is amazing and the local dishes a must try. We had a varied menu, especially in the evening, with multiple courses or even buffet. They have a separate spot in the restaurant where you can even cook for your baby/child all day long, and they have food especially for that age. The pool is super clean and with extraordinary views of the mountains, perfect temperature. Ski bus on time, regular service, so it takes a few minutes to get to the slopes. - We had to pay extra for the infant, although we didn't need and didn't use the "baby package" constituted by crib and baby tub; extra for the pool+ski bus+ski room. Room was facing the parking lot and we were at the same level with the parked cars and ski bus - we would've had to pay extra again to move on the other side and see the beautiful mountain range. If you want the real "mountain view" be sure you're on the right side of the building.

Spacious rooms, excellent food, attentive service, spectacular views from terrace bar and lovely afternoon snacks, fantastic kids club and evening entertainment.

I have mixed feelings about our stay. On the plus side, the food was generally very good (though not great veggie options) and varied. The staff were helpful and always accommodating with the kids. There was evening entertainment most nights with a kids disco and show, plus a cinema room. The bus to the slopes was frequent and the ability to leave our gear in the lockers at the slopes was a big help. The pool was small but fine, we managed to get in every day (there is a booking system but it was not actually enforced). On the negative side, we were 3 families occupying 5 rooms because there were no large family rooms. Despite asking several times before arrival to be close together, we were spread throughout the hotel on multiple floors. Apparently there is only 1 adjoining room and the max in any regular room is 3 people. The rooms are very small indeed and the hotel in general feels a bit tired. Wine was NOT included (despite being advertised that it was), and the cheapest white was €30 and cheapest red was €21. Mineral water was available at dinner but in the bedrooms the tap water was very cloudy. At one point I ordered 2 double gin and tonics and was charged an astronomical €50. I refused to pay and stuck with the wine. When you order wine at the dinner table, you immediately get marched to the till to pay for it, which is annoying as it takes a while and you just want to sit and relax with your family and friends. The spa cost extra - you couldn't even use the sauna without paying. Location wise, where the bus drops you isn't actually by a lift, just a small magic carpet only for very young children. You have to walk up a steep hill with all your ski gear to get to the first lift. The town is very small with a small Spar shop and 2 or 3 restaurants but not much else.

The hotel manager leads the way in the staff making guests feel welcome. From the dining staff to the theatre performers and class instructors to the reception and the concierge. Magnificent views, private connecting rooms, great entertainment, 4-course + dinners, what a great stay.
