The room and building were top quality very clean good selection of beer etc .

The food was t value for money .

The room was amazing. It looked really nice. Bathroom was huge and shower took 1/4th of that space which personally, I loved. Room was very warm (beginning of May) and we did not need any heating although it was available. Room and bathroom were both very clean. We received cooled bottled water every day with handwritten notes, which was a nice touch. Staff was very nice, especially the ones present at breakfast. Food was superb. I saw somewhere that Northey Arms was awarded for their food and I am not surprised. Everything I tried was superb.

I failed to notice when booking the accommodation that it’s next to train tracks. You can not only hear but also feel the trains. Fortunately they are not running during the night so it wasn’t a huge problem.

Lovely room, nice pub and friendly staff! Super location and parking is fine!

Some nights get very busy so book to eat early if you can

Petite musique et lumière d'ambiance en arrivant dans la chambre. Celle-ci est super bien décorée et très cosy. Pub restaurant magnifique, personnel hyper gentil et souriant. Repas divin et copieux. Véhicule parqué près de la chambre et éloigné de la route.

Comfortable room

Ceiling paint peeling and window frames in poor repair. Shabby in places, not just shabby chic. We had to wait over an hour for breakfast on the first day; when it came it was best described as meagre (and over cooked). There was a kitchen staffing problem and the cleaning staff stepped in to do the breakfast on both days. For our evening meal, most menu items had run out by 6.30pm, we had to wait a very long time for our meal and they forgot our drinks.

Me and my partner had the best stay at Northey Arms. The room was so comfortable and very clean! We had Breakfast and lunch, which we could not fault.

Room was clean and the food was good.

Was overcharged and then double charged for the room. I had problems raising this issue with the accommodation, leaving voicemails and emails and although now resolved, at no point has the accommodation made contact to confirm this or apologise for their error.

Location is ideal for visiting nearby Bath by bus, with bus stop outside the door. Lovely country pub with lots of character. Staff very welcoming. Rooms in the annex were very luxurious and very welcoming with radio playing on arrival.

Breakfast was only served sat in public bar with general public access including dog walkers. Limited choice from set menu with no refills on breakfast beverages.
