"Good, Friendly,Clean, Enjoy !!"

Two night midweek stay,(Wedding at York Maze)Hotel/Bar very clean & tidy.All staff friendly/polite,Breakfast very ,very good !!. did not stay for lunch/dinner, but evening meals looked good, and quite busy for a Tues evening, Friends stayed for Lunch Weds and enjoyed, They asked about a Taxi to the Maze, as a member of staff was available, a lift was given.would stay again, enjoy (NEIGHBOURHOOD, Near a busy main road, but not a problem,)

Hotel was excellent from arrival to departure, cannot fault it (although it is missing the original windmill it's named after!) Food and staff were brilliant, would definitely recommend.

Easy check in - pleasant and courteous staff. Clean room, adequate facilities. Good location for our visit to 6th Gear Driving experience. Fair price. Excellent Breakfast.

Lovely warm feel to welcome you into the pub. Nice friendly staff and the room was spot on. Basically everything you need and then some! Would highly recommend to friends and family.

"Lovely little pub hotel"

It's a great little pub hotel just about a ten min drive outside of York. The food is amazing and worth the wait. The accomodation is quiet and very comfy.. Would stay there again

"A nice modern take on a country pub guest house"

We came up to York for my partners Birthday and a small break from our 2 children. The room was very well presented and comfy. The windmill pub was very modern and well set out with plenty of tables. We had a small bite to eat before going into York that evening and the food was very good with quick service. The staff were very pleasant and when I noted there was no milk sachets in our room the manager was quick on the case. The breakfast the following morning was just what we needed to settle the mild hangover although a little disappointed there was no beans. An overall enjoyable stay just a little bit far out of York. Would recommend the Windmill as nice place to stay.
