Dryburgh Abbey Hotel

Die Lage am Fluss Tweed ist grandios und ausserdem extrem ruhig. Das Frühstück ist gut und vielseitig. Die Atmosphäre in dem alten Gemäuer hat Charme.

Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Ruhige und elysisch anmutende Umgebung, großzügige Zimmer (abbey room), große und sehr gemütliche Betten, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Die Inneneinrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was aber nicht wirklich gegen den schönen Ort spricht. Das Frühstück könnte hingegen etwas frischer und variabler sein mit besserem Kaffee.

A fine building in a beautiful location. Everyone was polite and welcoming.

Very well appointed room and bathroom: spacious, pleasant outlook. Good bed. Comfortable chairs. Good lighting. Attentive, well-trained staff. Good service in the restaurant. Good, varied menu and excellent food. Quiet and scenic.

Not cheap, but worth it.

The location was excellent and the evening meal delicious. The lounge area and walks locally so we didn't have to get in the car were fantastic.

The bathroom clean but very dated.
