Good food and accommodation. Helpful and friendly staff and only 5 minutes away from Castle Cone circuit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Room was very good. The bar served good drinks and the food was also very tasty.

Lovely place, clean, stylish and spacious rooms with great rainfall shower. Pub serves one of the best Roasts

It was so awful that we didn’t stay!!! We arrived and there was no where to park and the girl at the desk said she didn’t know how to check anyone in and could I wait for the manager, the manager’s solution to parking was that someone from the bar would probably leave in the next hour! How can you have a hotel with no parking and it was on a busy road and there was no parking anywhere around. We drove up and down. Eventually there was a parking spot which another car then tried to take and I had to stop them. We then found that we had to climb two external flights of steps that we had not know about, this wasn’t in the hotel information. We would not have booked had we known this as our dog has a heart condition. The hotel whilst stating it is dog friendly has no areas where dogs can do their business. No the room… well I cried, it was dirty, I picked up the blanket across the end of the bed and ended up with a dusty powdery film left on my hands, there was dogs hair in all the nooks and crannies where it had not been cleaned sufficiently. It made my skin crawl. I didn’t bother complaining at the time because I was too upset, I just handed the key back and left. £209 down the drain! I also didn’t stay long enough to take photos. This is not a standard I would expect from Hotel.com Very unhappy customers.

It was great service food a room were fabulous but I fear my car got bashed in the car park I have no proof no cameras bit I did have white paint/ chalk and the car was cleaned that morning so there was no damage then. Can’t blame anyone other than the person who hit it and did not report it. Slightly put a dampener on the trip bit I can’t blame the pub and staff such a lovely little spot, food was great a real comfort pleaser.

This was not what I expected - the rooms are really good and the walk in shower the best I have stayed in ! I thought they would be in the main building but they are out the back, and it is so much quieter there than it would have been above the bar/restaurant . Food awesome and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a bit of a "climb" up stone steps though, so not great for my mum who walks with a stick..but once up there... it was grand. Also - the floor is very hard. I broke my phone when it fell.. but it looks great :) phone not so much .... :)

Only stayed for one night arrived at 3.15 in room by 3.20 Lovely room bright and very clean Hadd s meal in the pub and it was excellent and the young woman whovwas running bar and serving meals was very friendly and helpful An excellebt stay and close to castle ccombe

The whole place was clean, tidy and well thought through. All for the benefit of the visitors to the establishment. The staff were friendly, obligingly helpful. I felt I was the most important person there. A big well done to Amy and the team.
