Lovely quiet place to stay with free WiFi and parking. The food is excellent served in a friendly environment.

A very comfortable queen sized bed and as the rooms are away from the pub it was quiet. The room had a large en-suite but the fan and light came on automatically as you opened the bathroom door which disturbed me every time my husband went to the bathroom during the night! The lighting was adequate but 6 ceiling spots were missing overall. Sadly a disadvantage when my husband was trying to use the bathroom mirror to shave.

Great accommodation, food and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Rooms away from the pub up some steps that need repairing. The windows open in a way that would allow intruders to enter easily and there is no air con or fan available. Cleanliness in the room could have been better. Had evening meal in the pub which was nice although service was quite slow.

It’s a lovely little place to stay and was close to where we needed to be. We wanted somewhere small due to Covid so less guest to mix with. (If we hadn’t need to travel we wouldn’t have gone) The room was clean and really nice staff where friendly. If we where just sleeping there I would have rated higher but we ate there and that’s where we felt a bit of a let down. We checked in at 4pm but couldn’t get any sort of food till 5:30pm then the menu was just not our cup of tea or the locals that were not thrilled to have us there. This would be a lovely place for couples looking for a short brake.

Lovely rooms but no lighting and loose stone slabs on outside stairs made access difficult. Had to send steak (over cooked) and hamburger (not cooked through) back to be cooked properly.

Great hotel, excellent location and just an enjoyable experience.. Unfortunately just traveling through on business, but would love to bring the family one day...

Dinner was excellent and so was breakfast. The pub was lovely and staff very friendly. Our only criticism is that the mattress on the bed was extremely worn and uncomfortable. We did however, really enjoy our two night stay.

Lovely setting in a very quaint old village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. I would also go back and stay again
