Lovely and very friendly food good people are realy friendly staff friendly could not ask for a better place to stay

Amazing food so compliments to the chef, would suggest opening slightly earlier for breakfast for those having to go into work

Very good service, clean and especially food. It is not very convinient for tourist without own car

Second time staying at Burton and this stay was equally as pleasant .. Accomodation was clean , tidy and well serviced on a daily basis by the staff ... Choice for breakfast was comprehensive and more than enough choice to start the day .. The staff , Libby , Mike and all else were courteous and friendly which all added to a comfortable 3 days .. Many thanks to them all ..

Delicious dinner. Chicken and beef burger dishes were fab. Great service from a charming young man.

We stayed at the accommodation for two nights for a family wedding. On arrival staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was really nice with clean, fresh and modern bedding. The cushions and throw were very nice - Biba accessories. The only niggle was the floor was dusty (laminate)and walking around in bare feet made this noticable, especially when walking to the bed from the shower. Again, this is easily rectified and wouldn't put me off staying there. The bathroom was well equipped with handwash, handcream and shower/hair gel. Very nicely decorated. Fresh towels. The toilet and sink were spotless. There were only a few things of note that were disappointing - there was dark hairs around the tiles around the sink where someone before us had shaved. The bed was very confortable and supportive. We slept really well. There was very little noise. Breakfast was gorgeous. Staff attentive. Very clean in the pub. The atmosphre was really nice too. Accessibility - the rooms are up a flight of steps. I'm not aware there was an alternative, so you need to be mobile to stay in the accommodation. The pathway was well lit. Car parking - the car park is onsite. We didn't have any issues parking and the front car park was better lit than the back we were advised. All in all it was a great stay, and I would stay again.
