"Loved glamping here!"

10.0

We loved our first Glamping experience! Under Canvas in West Yellowstone was great. - The staff is super friendly, - The main check-in and social area is really nice with snacks you can take on the road, tables and couches to relax inside the main tent, several fire pits outside with great seating, a nice community bathroom facility, S'more ingredients, and water/coffee/tea/hot chocolate. - The views are spectacular - It is very peaceful - The tents and furnishings are really nice. Especially having a fully functioning bathroom inside the tent! Sink has running hot water, shower has plenty of hot water (you just have to hold the chain down), and the toilet flushes! The beds were super comfortable, too. - It was VERY cold at under 30 degrees our first night but we were very cozy in bed and my kids said the warm sleeping bags with extra down comforters in the kids tent kept them warm. The only thing that got cold was our faces. They will give you hot water bottles (like whoopie cushions) but get them early because they ran out our first night so we didn't get any. We were able to get some the second night but actually preferred not to use them anyway because of the rubber smell. - We loved the restaurant! It was actually nice that it was in an actual building on property. The food was top notch and looked WAY nicer than anything we passed in the town of West Yellowstone. My only negative is that the person making the "to go" sandwiches that you can purchase for hikes or picnic lunches needs training on how to make a proper PB&J! For $12, it had one little clump of peanut butter in the center but tons of jelly. I read some negative reviews about the "value" since this isn't cheap, but the amount of work involved in setting this up every summer, providing full bathroom facilities inside a tent, hauling in furniture, etc. seems like it would be a lot of work. So we justified it. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Fantastic location for the park. Restaurant was good. Tents were good sized and bathrooms were great also.

Only issue was how squeaky the bed was, couldn’t move at all without it sounding like it was going to fall apart.

Very friendly professional employees beautiful area it was just VERY cold. We understand yellowstone area gets like that however it was just very cold. Fire wouldn't stay light from all the wind it was blowing it in the tent. Had to open the entrance to clear it. It was alot of money for what you got, and to freeze 2 nights in a row. Nope.

Cold cold cold! No fire would warm my old bones, car was way too far from the tent. Should tell your guests when they book

The location was Beautiful. Great experience for the family to enjoy the "glamping" near Yellowstone Park. The views are great and location right out of the town. The staff was very nice and helpful. The outdoor guest area was nice in the evenings.

The price is higher then I would have liked but you are paying for the experience. The wood fire places in the tents were nice but I would prefer propane heaters. The wood stoves will need to be loaded about every 2-3 hrs. to keep tent warm at night. After hiking all day, it can be rough waking up throughout night to tend a fire.
