Caroline, the proprietress of the Victorian by the Sea, is a delightful hostess. The inn itself is lovely and beautifully maintained, with colorful, well-tended gardens. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was also delicious, served in a beautiful room with a view of the sea.

Beautiful, quiet property tucked away. The house was gorgeous and the rooms were a great size. Amazing breakfast in the morning. It’s a quick drive into town and there is so much to see that’s close. The entire area is beyond beautiful.

We travel a lot and I love BNBs. I was surprised that the owner chastised us for bringing suitcases rather than a “day bag.” She told us this is “normal” for BNBs, which I’ve never heard. We had been traveling for two weeks! How do you bring a day bag? I would have had to “pack” a new bag in our trunk! We weren’t expecting her to carry anything. I just stunk to round out our trip feeling like a jerk. So, moral of the story- do NOT bring a suitcase!

Worth every penny and more. We loved it! The innkeeper is AWESOME! Beautiful property, great places to sit and relax. Breakfast was perfect and beds were comfy. I would book this again!
