"good hotel"

It was definitely a pleasant stay in The New Tulbagh Hotel. good location, lovely deco, friendly staff and reasonable price. but one thing that makes me upset is the airport pick-up service. since my flight arrived at 11 at night, i called 3 days in advance to ask for a airport pick-up service from the hotel. a recetion guy said no propblem. everything is confirmed and we will surely arrange a car from our hotel to pick you up by arrival. But when i arrived and tried to find the driver. there was no one there for us. i called the hotel, (it seemed to be the same reception guy) the reception said "would yuo want to me ask the driver to get you now?"--what's the problem. didn't he should be supposed to arrive earlier to wait for us? we took a taxi to the hotel in the end with less price(200rand)

Very friendly staff at reception.Helpful reception staff. Sushi Bar across the road, highly recommended. Pity about restricted /limited parking.
