Excellent hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a great position on the lake and the views are absolutely stunning! The food in all of the restaurants was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There were also some unexpected bonuses, such as a free bottle of prosecco in our room on arrival and free tickets to the botanic gardens at Villa Cipressi. We loved the hotel and Varenna so much we didn't want to leave! I highly recommend this hotel, thank you for such a lovely stay!

Our room was on the side of the building next to the church and the bells started at 7am every day. But apart from that everything was amazing

Excellent service! Everyone that we dealt with was aiming to please and make our experience better. The views, you can't ask for better Lake Como views, from the morning, day, evening and night it hit. Food was also amazing from breakfast to dinner we never had a bad meal.

This is probably more of a me problem for not doing enough research on the area. The price and room size just didn't line up for me. Probably because it's a Como thing. The noise level, hearing people slamming doors or dragging furniture across the floor from the early morning until the wee hours of the night definitely put a sour note in my mouth, i love quiet when it comes to a higher tier hotel and I didn't get it here.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The highlight was the breathtaking view from the breakfast balcony overlooking Lake Como—an unforgettable way to start each day. The breakfast offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of delicious choices, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. A beautiful property in a spectacular setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lake Como.

The hotel was absolutely perfect for our three night stay. Everything you need was on offer and the pool was simply the best.

Most beautiful hotel! Had an incredible stay here, staff were so lovely and accomodating, had the most perfect view of lake como! Loved it so much! Close proximity to everything, 5 min shuttle from the train station

Nothing at all!

Was centrally located, clean, a wonderful swimming pool, breakfast was great and there is a free service to pick up and be dropped off at the train station by the hotel which was great as it was too far to walk with luggage. The view from the hotel over Lake Como was magnificent.

Drinks and food were far too expensive to buy from the hotel so we purchased from the nearby convenience store. Most staff were polite but others rude and short when asking questions about tours and help when booking in.

The location and the level of cleanliness.

Sometimes it’s very noisy. You can hear all the workers making noise.
