Smartr Madrid Atocha

It's clean, modern and well located. Mind you renting an apartment is somewhat different from hotel accommodations. There is no room service available. A representative was there waiting to let us in when we arrived. He was kind enough to tell us a little about Madrid. The kitchenette, living room, bedrooms and restrooms looked like new. We felt completely at home. The air conditioning worked great. It is located walking distance from a number of bus stops, mini-marts and fast-food restaurants.

Nice modern apartment. Staff members extremely kind - Nicholas , celia , micelo all helped us with advice and with troubles with our barcelona apartment. Would come back again and again.

Cool apartment with a great value for its location. Apartment needs some basic repairs to fixtures, which was annoying. Also, the apartment really needs a thorough cleaning. However, my family of four enjoyed our time here very much.

VERY helpful. Limited staff but helped us find all the good resturaunts and attractions. We had a limited stay in Madrid, they helped make it memerable.

This was a great 2 bedroom apartment at a fantastic location in Madrid. It is situated between the main square (a ten minute walk) and the Prado and Parque Retiro (a 5 minute downhill walk). The kitchen and main living room are spacious and lovely. There is a washing machine but no dryer and bring laundry detergent if you want to do laundry as they don't provide it. There are two bathrooms with showers only, so the lack of a bathtub may be an issue for those with young children. Just a note: When you arrive, make sure to call the staff 30 minutes before you get there so that they can meet you with keys because the entry is a non-descript brown door with no sign post and no way to enter into the lobby of the building without a key. Overall, a great alternative to a hotel in Madrid.

this apartment was a great choice for us. it is very clean and convenient -- we walked everywhere! note that the kitchen functional but you need to prepare to buy basic supplies such as salt, pepper, olive oil, ...etc and also note that there is no dishwasher. there is a clothes washer but no dryer which limited the amount of clothes we could wash. one area for improvement is to improve the WIFI strength. everything else was great!

I really can't say enough good things about this apartment. Very nicely appointed, absolutely perfect location just down the street from the Prado and many other museums. They met us at the apartment to give us keys and show us the layout of the area. For the price, it was much nicer having our own place than staying at a hotel in a similar price range. Madrid4Rentals did a great job. They just started doing this recently, so they missed a few small details like a trash can in the bathroom, extra toilet paper, and an extra shelf and hooks to place toiletries and towels. But they were minor inconveniences and I'm sure will be soon remedied!

We spent 7 days, 6 nights. The location is perfect, within walking distance to most places. The place is very clean and roomy. For a family with small children is ideal. For the younger traveler is also great since it's close to lots of pubs.

The truth is that we was happy this time ,and was only for a day,they treat us like we were the most important clients ,the guy who receive us was quite good ,he helped with our luggages and explain us some interesting places for visit where we can drink some in that night . The building was pretty and new ,and in apartment all new and clean . In conclusion ,we recommend it on all aspects ,and that because we know many apartments .And last ,wifi was free!!

This was the best room we stayed in over a two week Europe trip. Fully furnished including washing machine at a very reasonable rate with easy access to the metro. You need to call about 30 minutes prior to arriving to set up a meeting time to get in, which was not specified on hotels.com, but it worked out and we couldn't have been happier with the apartment.
