Smartr Madrid Atocha

This was my second stay in two weeks in Madrid Smart Rentals. The apartments made a great base for exploring Madrid (5-10 mins Prado, 15 mins Atocha station, 20 mins Plaza Mayor) in a characterful and vibrant area of the city. Apartment well appointed, though we preferred our first flat (1 Floor) to the second (4 Floor, on two levels joined by slightly perilous staircase and several opportunities to bump your head). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Much to be recommended.

Staff were great. Could leave your luggage in office if you arrived earlier than check in time. Staff also arranged transportation to airport via taxi for 30€. Apartment was clean and modern. Definitely would return!

I had a very bad experience, pictures are deceiving and the rating is not correct.

Central. Great for walking to Prado, Retiro, Reina Sofia, restaurants, bars etc. quiet apartment but staircase not for the elderly or infirm.

On our arrival one membero of the staf nico recieved us nicely ,and all the staff members gave us a nice treat , the apartment was awesome ,and super super clean ,the building has an elevator too,i highly recomend this hotel

Very comfortable and clean apartment for family of four with two teenage sons (though one had to sleep on pullout couch ) Barrio de las Letras was a lovely place to stay. Near to plazas for cafe or afternoon vino, Retiro, Prado, etc but away from noise and hustle bustle of city.

Nice apartment. Great staff. Good location. Can walk everywhere. Good churros next store. Residential neighborhood. Easy access to the Prado, Reina Sofia and atocha train station. Plaza Santa Ana less than 5 minute walk. Recommended for families or anyone needing more space. Only downside was could have more amenities. It is an apartment not a hotel. For an apartment it is very nice: clean and spacious. I would recommend it to others!

Nice apartment, located near to El Prado museum. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly staff who helped with arrival and departure to airport. Allowed you to leave luggage in their office the day of departure. The building was a little noisy. Suit a family who like a little more space than a hotel room

Mind you, this is an appartment. There is no room service. You must clean up before you check out. Just the same we had a great experience there for the money. Plenty of extra towels and bedding in the closets. The kitchenett had plates, glasses and flatware available. The gentleman who let us in helped us figure out what to see in town. We were within walking distance of museums, shopping and food.

This place was decent.
