Marriott's Kauai Lagoons

It was a nice place.

Nice place to stay. The little store was great, but would have liked a restaurant within walking distance.

A great 2 bedroom villa with an ocean view, top notch kitchen appliances and excellent pool and surrounding grounds. This was our first visit to this MVC property and will surely book again. The only strange thing was that why was what appeared to be a thriving shopping area among the canals is vacant.

What a wonderful time my family had staying here. 6 adults and 2 grandkids enjoyed our visit. From the start Candee and Jordanwere very welcoming and knowledgable of the preperty and island. On arrival front desk team leader Halia really sets the bar for her team. Britney always had a smile. The housekeeping staff and maintenance were top notch. The grounds were beautiful and the bbq's clean. We will definately return here!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable 6-night stay here. The hotel, somewhat dated, still retains its charm. The personnel who greeted us on our arrival, from McKenna and Crystal at the front desk, to Jordan, the concierge, were welcoming and helpful. The grounds was well-maintained and picturesque. Our suite, with a view of the blue ocean, was comfortable and clean. It’s refreshing that parking was free. The shallow pool, with a tube slide, was a favorite of our grandkids. They also loved the fun keiki programs at the activities center. I enjoyed the quiet daily early morning walk around the lagoon to start the day. There’re several good restaurants, and a beach a short driving distance nearby. And it’s situated next to a quiet beautiful golf course.

Soooo … probably the nicest rooms on the island. Huge 2 or 3 bedroom units with gorgeous full kitchen and wonderful bathrooms. Thanks Marriott’s for the elevators and courteous people to help with luggage. Spacious and all have ocean view. The bad news is no amenities. The rec room/fitness room is located so far away that we never bothered to use it. No bar, no restaurant. One very nice pool, but too shallow. One spa, but always crowded. Even a handful of kids in the pool is too many, as there’s no adult space. So hard to get your aloha on because it’s almost always noisy. The view was breathtaking, but rude Timbers parks their tractors and heavy equipment at the bottom of the property, so Lagoons guests have to look past them to see their ocean view. That really bothered us a lot because we paid lots to see the gorgeous view and no one wants to look at yellow backloaders and a crane all week. The grounds with the lagoons were beautiful, but nothing to do on the property. Marriott’s needs to step up their game and get this property to standards owners expect and appreciate.

Greetings, My wife and I stayed in Villa 1122 on the property from Sat. 05/20 and checked out Sat. 05/27. This property is our favorite Hawaiian Islands property and we look forward to a return visit later this year. The grounds and property are impeccable. We noticed that our 2 bedroom villa had a newer GE Profile dishwasher and new patio furniture too. We bought our usual supplies at Costco and Safeway and enjoyed several great meals on our patio. Coffee in the morning and adult beverages in the evening are very special on the patios at Kauai Lagoons. We also visited several very good restaurants on the Island and I will post reviews at their respective websites. I enjoyed the hot tub several times during our visit and the pool area is spectacular for sure. Construction? Yes - there is construction on the far west end of the Timbers property and it did not impact our vacation at all. Special thanks to McKenna and the amazing team at Kauai Lagoons who make this a special destination for all of us! FYI-we are the couple who adopted Walter the cat in 2021. Walter is living a good and loved life in Arizona. Consider visiting the Kauai Humane Society on your next visit to Kauai. Happy and safe travels to all!

Very nice place. Only negative is no restaurant onsite.

Big apartment, three tvs and 2 bedrooms and full kitchen with dining table. Pool. But no room service and no way to get to the beach (no beach access).
