Hôtel François Premier

The taxi cabs were two expensive for four minutes rides and they are not enough restaurant open in the middle of the afternoon. The tourist area they close and reopen late

Wonderful hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location right in the centre of Cognac. Great breakfast and ate dinner in a restaurant nearby owned by the hotel. Very good meal and friendly staff.

Lovely few days spent at this hotel whilst in Cognac for a friend’s wedding. Wonderful location, in centre of Cognac. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lovely shower in bathroom .

Great hotel in the very centre of Cognac, ideally placed to explore the old town and access the Cognac Houses.

It was very clean and the staff were friendly. The one problem was that we were charged 41 euros for breakfast and we only had a coffee and a croissant - that is far too expensive. That slightly spoiled the otherwise positive experience.

The hotel was in a great location with secure but tight parking. Staff were friendly and helpful- happy to offer advice about the area and hotel

An example of how a hote should be, staff attentive and engaging, the whole hotel is immaculately presented with very comfortable beds. The bar served a very good planche mixt, and the buffet breakfast faultless.
