Unique Hotel Post

Our five day stop in the Unique Post Hotel in Zermatt, was the main and final part of our holiday to Switzerland, and was definitely the highlight! A modern boutique hotel located on the Main Street in ‘pedestrian only’ Zermatt was the perfect location and setting from which to explore the spectacular surrounding area. The staff were really helpful in every element of the stay, from a warm and friendly welcome at breakfast, to reception which deserves a huge thank you to Max for helping us by providing USB adapters and helping with room queries, nothing was too much trouble and response was immediate, professional whilst maintaining a relaxed and friendly feel. Location is perfect. A four minute walk from the main train station along one road made getting to the hotel super easy Opposite the station is the Gornergrat cog railway and a bit further round is the cable car stop up to Sunnegga, so everything is really accessible . The Cable Car station up to the Matterhorn Glacial paradise was less than five minutes walk in the other direction, with all shops, bars and restaurants literally on the doorstep. The rooms were in a modern open plan style with a natural wood interior giving a relaxed and comfy feel to the stay, The only thing we could have asked for were USB ports with the plug sockets, a really minor point, but would have helped with charging phones, GPS watches for international visitors. We visited the hotel’s complimentary spa on one occasion after a full days hiking which was a great experience with a vigorous jacuzzi and a nice and hot sauna, great to relax in. With a wide choice of bars and restaurants on site, you could spend the visit on site. In summary, a brilliant stay which we will definitely be repeating in the near future.

溫馨的小屋，很放鬆！

Wir haben ein Upgrade bekommen und hatten eine Suite die unglaublich komfortabel und gemütlich war., mit einer Dachterrasse zusätzlich zum Balkon, von der man einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Matterhorn hatte. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal sehr, sehr freundlich. Unser Abendessen im dazugehörigen Poststüble ausgezeichnet auf hohem Niveau mit exzellente Weine

L’emplacement , le confort de la chambre , le petit déjeuner , la voiturette électrique et le sympathique chauffeur , le nombre d’étage et d’animation dans l’hôtel , le bar hyper cocooning.

J’ai pas aimée qu’on nous disent à la réception qu’on aurait la possibilité d’aller au spa le lendemain matin avant l’ouverture et que le lendemain une des ses collègues nous disent que c’était pas possible. J’ai pas aimée la serveuse au bar . J’ai pas aimée le bruit toute la nuit (avec une fenêtre pas possible à fermée malgré notre demande à la réception) dans la rue mais c’était sûrement exceptionnelle et animée plus que la normale avec le festival .

Es war wirklich alles sehr sauber, mein Kind meinte mit einem weissen T-Shirt über den Boden rutschen zu müssen. Ich kann nur sagen, ein besseres Lob kann man wohl kaum haben. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, sehr freundlich und stand sofort zur Verfügung. Der Service war grossartig, vom möglicher Bahnhofabholung über Kofferaufbewahrung bis hin zu Willkommensgetränk und zusätzliches Wasser für die Abreise. Von der Aussicht und der guten zentralen Lage habe ich noch nicht gesprochen. Auch die vielseitigen Möglichkeiten von SPA über Bar und Live DJ. Hier passte für uns einfach alles. Vielen Dank.

Das wir nicht länger gebucht hatten, aber der Fehler liegt definitiv bei uns 😅.
