Nice place with good breakfast but grossly overpriced. Half the room rate would be a fair reflection for what you get for your money. Lots of negatives apart from location.

However I wouldn't recommend it  as a spa hotel as the spa facility is very limited and has no indoor pool for swimming - just a small pool with jets   There is a small sauna and steam room but no gym  The sauna was never hot enough and the steam room wasn't working the 3 days I was there.  Nor was the waterfall in the jet pool.  It is not really big enough for more than 4 to 6 people at a time. On top of that, it was never open when we wanted to use it. The hours were limited to 11am to 7pm  There was a nice unheated outdoor pool, but the chaging rooms were disgusting. The breakfasts were good (although laid out badly), and you could get poorly cooked scrambled eggs to order, but if you preferred an omlette, you had to pay 12€  extra.  If you preferred fresh orange juice, that was another 8€.  At €375 per night, I wouldn't expect to pay for either Dinner was the real problem.  Having eaten there one evening, we were forced to go out after that, which was a pain with the narrow winding roads to negotiate.  The only options are 3 tasting menus at €110 -130. You could just have one course for about €25-30 but this was only  a couple of mouthfuls. They really should offer other option as it is fairly remote. We had a couple of service issues, but they were generally good at making amends. They have their own vineyard, and you would think that at the price you are paying, they would offer a free wine tasting, but no - you have to pay for that. So, in summary, it's a nice place with a second rate spa, but it's definitely not worth the money and not a great location.

Everything was incredible and super luxury. The staff was amazing, especially the concierge who was so nice and professional!
