This is a small hotel in Grindelwald. Although it is not close to the train station (a 15 minute walk away), the hotel provided bus coupons and compensated this drawback. Possibly due to its location, during my stay, my wifi and data connection were poor. The facilities are slightly dated but acceptable. What I appreciate this hotel is the nice staff who gave us many advice. The breakfast was also decent and provided us much energy for Jungfraujoch.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. Hotel however looks very dated. Water stains on the carpet were clearly visible on multiple floors. Location was a bit far out of the main street and required a bus or taxi to get around. Buses however stopped at 8pm. Overall value for money was OK.
Hotel was great
. The Residence Hotel was excellent. Rooms are large, with full kitchen, terrace, great views, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Lovely and quiet while still an easy walk into town. Very enjoyable visit.
Misleading information and pictures. Price higher then published. Stinky room. No water pressure in shower. No way to adjust temp in shower. Unclean bed sheets. Stained carpet. By far over priced. Bathroom sink shower and toilet in clean. Horrid beds and mattress, very low quality. Might be suitable for youth if was not so highly priced. I do not recommend staying even one hour at this establishment

Quite far from the train station. The room is smaller than that seemed in photos.
Amazing time, great staff, good breakfast, and views....
Don’t really like the location as it is beside cemetery. Mattress is too soft so I don’t like. And room is very old and dun even have fridge. Breakfast is good.
