The place was dated, but convenient in terms of walkable, convenient to bus station, nice views, helpful staff, scrumptious breakfast. It was a nice stay.
Clean and comfortable was just what we wanted after our klettersteig (via Ferrata) climb.
The staff and breakfast were very good. My only issue was the internet did not work at all one night in my room and when I asked staff about it they said the internet was not so good on signal but showed me a small lobby downstairs I could use. I would though use them again I would just know I could not rely on cell or internet access.
I will book again this hotel if I come back to Grindelwald
