Hotel Isla del Encanto

Beautiful location, friendly staff, good food, lots of good (paid but affordable) snorkeling trips. Very relaxing. Great value. The boat ride there and back is fun.

Great stay at Hotel Encanto for my 35th birthday. Lovely grounds, well maintained. Romantic or family friendly. Good music at the pool. Lunch and Dinner was very tasty.

The hotel was amazing with its beautiful views, nice suits, amazing food. The only thing you should know is that its a place to relax. Everyone pretty much goes into their rooms at sunset. Not very social during the night.

When I was looking for a place for us to stay in the Rosario Islands around Christmas, the Isla del Encanto was the only property that had availability and I thought it was a little pricey. But, after staying two nights, it was well worth the money. The location is beautiful and we watched the sunset over the Caribbean Sea. The amenities were great and the service from the staff could not have been better. One thing to consider is that the price includes meals, which were mostly delicious. And we got transported from/to Cartagena by a speedboat, which made the property seem even more exclusive. Our only complaint was that we arrived on Christmas Day and there was loud music coming from celebrations in the nearby town of Baru that lasted until midnight. But we didn't hear it the next night so it may have just been due to the holiday. I highly recommend this property.

We spent a few days in this hotel & it was beautiful. If you want a party scene, this hotel is not for you. If you want peace, & relaxation, then this is the place. The hotel is small & that’s what makes it peaceful; it’s a very tropical vibe . We stayed in a bungalow with a modern setup: AC, TV, shower with hot water. The pool was beautiful with beds to lay down in & gaze at the ocean. The beach is small but not too small plenty of loungers to relax in. The beach is a hit or miss. First day it wasn’t too clear with few seaweed (due to rain) ; the next day it was really clear and calm waters. Either way each day we spent hours on the beach, warm waters hardly any waves. We loved it. The staff was AMAZING. William in the restaurant was wonderful very attentive, polite & pleasant to talk to. At all times William always went above & beyond during our stay. Alfonso was also fantastic! All the staff was great they make sure you are happy and taken care of. The food is to die for, so delicious. I still dream about it to this day. It’s semi all inclusive. You get breakfast lunch and dinner but it’s at specific times, so you can’t eat just whenever you want, honestly it wasn’t a problem as the meal portions were extremely generous. They have room service but we never used it. To get there is by boat 1 hr, or car is about 1.5 hrs roads are pretty good a few bumps but not bad. Juan Camilo our driver was nice & informative; felt safe the whole time on the roads. Definitely WILL be back!
