Lovely location, the pub is excellent, the room was immaculate, clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Staff were polite and welcoming

WiFi was non-existent, no TV remote, and it would have been a bonus to have air-con given the unusually hot weather.

Despite bringing business into village certainly made to feel like an outsider

Quiet, small village vibe with lively 1 pub. Nearby activities without the headache of in city. Pub had great food. 10 -25 min drive to the things we wanted to see and do. On-site parking. Good breakfast. Room qiwt despite pub below. Must be well sound proofed

No public transit might be problem for some people. Stairs might be problem for some people⁹

Good options for food - being gluten free they had a good range of options for me! I had the gluten free fish and chips this time. But the gluten free brownie is delish!

The heat in my room (6) was nearly unbearable - unfortunately the weather got the better of that room. The window would not stay open, and there was no fan. The Wi-Fi was also not working (hasn't been the past couple of times I have stayed).

Nothing we refused to stay

The rooms are nothing like the photos on site. The room was dirty and the heat unbearable no windows, radiators were switched on with no way to turn them off. 34 degrees in the room. No way of escape if there was a fire and the staff totally unhelpful until we told them we weren't willing to stay
