The Crown Inn

Great village atmosphere. Very welcoming. Glad it wasn’t the village of ‘Midsomer’ !

We walked into an old fashioned room filled with mosquitoes. We asked for a spray and sprayed them ourselves. There was a carnival outside that we did not know about. We waited until our dinner with family, paid for our room and drove back to our home in Surrey after dinner.

Where we stayed is not the photo showing... The Crown at Aldbourne is welcoming and relaxed with everything you need in your room. Comfortable beds, and generous breakfast. We have been before and will stay again.

Room 3 was very spacious and clean. There was a lively gig beneath our room, quite entertaining and it didn’t go on too late. Good breakfast. We were encouraged, everyone was so friendly in this pretty quaint village. Would stay again .

Lovely historic old pub in a beautiful area. Good selection of real ale . We had an evening meal and cooked breakfast, both very good and excellent value. Staff friendly and helpful.

Nice traditional little pub / B&B with good service which serves us an excellent cooked breakfast. I also recommend the Aldbourne circular walk

Lovely traditional pub in a beautiful village landlord Allan is a lovely bloke, room was nice breakfast was very good and food is exactly what it says on the tin good honest food perfectly cooked from local ingredients, would definitely stay here again

Nice enough pub. Room was OK. Food in evening was pretty good. Girl who booked in and was on food front of house made sure everyone knew it was boring. SO boring she clearly forgot to mention to anyone when I was heading for breakfast. Nobody about at 7:30, place locked up. Had to go elsewhere for breakfast even though I'd already paid for one. A first for me.
