"Pleasant stay."

Warm welcome. Comfortable bed and clean well decorated room. Proper walk in shower without a horrible shower curtain was a bonus! Very dog friendly. Pleasant breakfast. Would stay again.

"Great place to stay"

Fantastic hotel, great rooms,great food and wonderful staff. Highly recommend. The only thing I could mark them down for is the absolutely useless shower, a minor niggle. Beautifully decorated and a really great restaurant. Located right on the edge of the New Forest.

"Great hotel with food and staff to match "

Staff were lovely, amazing breakfast (go for the cooked one!) and the room was clean and tidy. Only thing is no air con so when it got hot it was a bit stuffy but that’s the only downside we could see. Car park is limited so need to get there early before patrons arrive to dine in the restaurant on site.

The room in the hotel was great, good size, clean and comfortable. Hotel is also centrally located. However check in was at 3pm and checkout next day was 10am! Breakfast on a Sunday 7.30-9.30! Most hotels allow a later breakfast at the weekend so guests can relax and rest, clearly not the case here. We were also woken at 7am by cars driving past, very loudly, on the way to Beaulieu. That’s obviously not the hotel’s fault.

"A lovely hotel in a lovely.town"

Lovely hotel run by some nice people. The room was really large and well appointed and the hotel was old and quirky. We ate in on the first night, and the food was excellent. The back garden has a large aviary and is lovely to sit in on a sunny day. A nice stay.

"Nice venue, poor service"

Was looking forward to a Sunday roast, Pre-ordered the Sunday roast mid afternoon, when I arrived that evening was told they had sold out just after I ordered mid afternoon, but didn't bother to call. Was sat on a table in the corner and service was slow, food even slower. Sadly a nice venue with poor service. Hope this is a one off
