The Redhurst Hotel

Attending a show at Eastwood Theatre in Giffnock, we found this gem of a place nearby. Very warm greeting and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us, including a main course in the restaurant when we only had 20 minutes to spare. Quick and tasty, Booked a taxi for us. Excellent all round

I enjoyed my stay at the Redhurst. nice quiet place, with pleasant helpful staff. food was good and whole place was spotless.

We came here expecting to be able to use laundry. What does "laundry facilities" mean? It appears to be separate to laundry/dry cleaning available. Twice we have obviously misinterpreted this on your website,so can it please be made clearer? On the positive side, we highly commend Ciara in the restaurant, who was amazingly helpful in several ways.

Hotel was clean , staff were very friendly and very helpful would stay here again no problem .

Once you get round the fact that the building is ugly, looks like a 1970's office block David Brent style, then inside it is more a premier inn with a very large bar that also attracts locals, does food, has sport on TV. For me that is good enough. Rooms Premier Inn style but a bit worn around the edges and dated but functional. Plenty of parking. Decent breakfast. Free Wifi. It is not luxury but it is far better than bargain basement and I have always found the staff helpful. Main reason for review is that I have stayed her on business (if holiday with family I would be looking for other types of hotels with different facilities) a few times and feel it deserves more than the average rating that it currently has.

As I only used the hotel as a one night stop and ate outside the Hotel, I put up with the dated décor, but the breakfast experience was altogether the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel - No hot food except for some meager potions of cooked items, that HAD BEEN THERE FOR AT LEAST 2 HOUS. I WAS TOLD THAT SOME NEW COOKED FOOD WAS ON ITS WAY AND WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 5 MINS FOR A FRIED EGG! BUT AFTER 30 MINS AND STILL NO HOPE OF THIS ARRIVING, I ASKED FOR A REFUND AT THE RECEPTION.
