The hotel was newly refurbished and very clean. It's one of those setups where a sliding door doubles as a door for the bathroom and the wardrobe. The service at the bar in the evening and also for breakfast the next morning was very slow.

The Redhurst Hotel is a nice simple inn located in Giffnock, Glasgow. About a 25 minute train ride from Central Station.. We were there in mid-august. The staff were great. Very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a nice pub and some sort of event hall. No real grounds to speak of. The rooms were simple, slightly worn, but comfortable enough. I normally stay in a chain hotel like a Marriot or Raddison, but had to be in this area, so made do here. Not an uncomfortable stay at all, but not quite what I was used to. Cottage inn feel.

Nice location in the Giffnock area. Plain and simple property, good service. Minimal amenities. We were in a suite, which was larger and more nicely furnished than standard rooms. But the place was threadbare. Mattress needs replacing. No telephone. No clock. No refrigerator. 1 of 2 windows not working properly. No AC, though not often needed in Glasgow. Free breakfast. Nice bar downstairs.

My family and my wife and I stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding, I was given the Giffnock suite which I was told is there best room, my 4 sons and partners had also booked rooms My room was fabulous clean spacious with a luxury feel about it, but my sons rooms were very dated and tired The staff are really friendly and helpful
