Seara Praia Hotel

This property does NOT look like the pics, the pool area is very small only has 3 lounge chairs. Elevator would get stuck, the hotel is next to a swim pool arena so the loud sound of the whistle, horn wakes you up early in the morning. Everything inside the hotel is old small , you have a sheet as a blanket, curtain we’re dirty. The restaurant doesn't open till 1pm , also we showed up at 1130am and check in was at 2pm I know early but they didn’t nothing to accommodate us . We couldn’t even used the pool which was fine because it turned out the pool was very small. The pics are not what reflects in the actual property .

No on-site parking. No adapters available for non-Brazilian plugs. Extensive remodel noise. Pool is very dated and needs cleaning. Missing towels, low quality linens.

On the overall they are very good, very friendly staff, however the towels need replacement.

This hotel is considered a 5-star hotel. I would give it 2.5 at most. Although the location is great and the reception is beautiful, the rooms are only okay. The first room we were given, there was mold all over the shower. We were moved to another room that also had mold in the shower. We were told there was nothing they could do about it after moving us once. The room overall is very plain and you can hear all the noise from the street. Especially the bus that drives around with loud music and people dancing. We did notice there was a lot of mold above the checkin desk. Breathing in black mold is terrible for you. We did enjoy the rooftop pool and the views from up there. That part was amazing. The only other thing that was annoying was the strict mask policy. We had to show proof of vaccination at check-in so relax on the mask rules. We travel to Fortaleza frequently and we will not be staying here again.

Great hotel, everything was satisfactory, the breakfast was good. Clean and location cant be beat!

Eu já fiquei muitas vezes no Hotel Seara. Era o segundo melhor para mim, atrás do Gran Marquise apenas. Mas dessa vez, foi uma tremenda decepção. Já no check-in, a atendente Alessandra foi bastante descortês. E assim seguiu com todas as solicitações que eu fazia. Eu reservei uma suíte Luxo de frente para o mar. O quarto parecia de 1979. Cheiro ruim, banheiro sujo, cortinas velhas. Nas amenidades, não tinha sequer touca de cabelo e algodão. Quando pedi, não tinha nada no hotel. Pedi um sabonete para banho e até hoje não recebi... para ver o nível. O café da manhã deu uma super caída de qualidade também. Enfim. Não fico mais. Gran Marquise está incomparável agora!

The restaurant was poor at best and the service was extremely slow

Everything was perfect, the swimming pool in the rooftop and the view over there is breathtaking.

Não foi o que eu esperava para hotel 4 estrelas. Aqui uma review bem honesta: 1. Muito barulhento, da pra ouvir a conversa do vizinho de cima e dos lados. 2. A pia do banheiro estava vazando e deixava o banheiro doto molhado. 3. A porta do closet não abria, não dava pra usar o cofre. Machuquei meu dedo tentando abrir. 4. O telefone do quarto não funcionava. Toda vez que eu precisava de algo, tinha que vir até a recepção. 5. O frigobar não estava completo quando chegamos e tentaram nos cobrar por consumação na saída. 6. E por último, o preço da diária que eu peguei pelo Expedia foi diferente do que me cobraram na recepção. Pontos bons: a comida do café da manhã é ótima e a localização eh muito boa!
