"Rude staff, only cash, no wifi in room."

6.0

The hotel was in a good location, but when we got there we found out we could only pay in cash and there was no wifi in the room. only the main office (far from the rooms) had wifi but just during opening hours which was the time we were at the beach, therefore we could never use it. the day we were leaving we wanted to leave our bags for an hour after check out to enjoy the beach before our train left. the staff was not helpful, they told us to put them in the bathroom and when we were about to leave she told us she was charging us per bag a ridiculous sum, with a horrible rude attitude when we asked about the price. of course we took our bags and left knowing we would never recommend this place to anyone.

"Cinque terre are not meant to go with cars.."

6.0

The room was ok although it was pretty high up after 300 stairs...As per hotels.com, we could have had an option for an Air cond. to rent.....not really available. We (family of five) were at the beginning of August so there was a lot of people, way too much. Could feel locals were a bit fed up with that many people. We came with our car to Riomaggiore as we did not find any parking spot at La Spezia. And life is difficult with a car as any spot is not for tourists. We finally found a parking spot 1,7 km away up the hill at the crossroad of the main road...Keep in mind that you will get a fine if you don't respect their unclear rules....They should think of restricting access to car with shuttle services to a mandatory remote parking up the hill to prevent this unfortunate tough situation. Reception was a bit hectic and we did not need to arrive before 16h30 (as per hotels.com mention ). So we rushed for no reason to get there before that time. Overall, we did like the spot, the landscape was outstanding. A bit of refresh exterior painting would be a good suggestion for the houses.

Staff wasn't very helpful, staircase looks like a ruin. No Parking facilities! Room is accessed through other people doorms. Wouldn't book it again.

"Prisvärt och bra boende med en fantastisk utsikt"

8.0

Fantastisk utsikt i en fantastisk by. Bra och prisvärt boende. Många trappor, nästan högst upp i byn får inte vara lat men belönas med en vacker utsikt

"Great location but"

6.0

The office is run down and dank. Not a great first impression. Make sure you get there before 8PM local time! Our room, really a flat with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, was run down. It was clean but beyond well worn. The furniture included some motley cast offs. The kitchen was equipped but barely. The frig was overdue for defrosting and we needed to put a chair against it to keep the door closed. The office and the rooms are not near one another. Wifi is only available at the office, sitting on a small uncomfortable patio, and only between 10AM and 8PM. The lack of wifi after 8PM and before 10AM was annoying. The hotel did provide (threadbare) beach towels that came in handy. You can swim off a dock in Cinque Terre but we took the boat to Monterosso where there is a free sandy beach. The location was great (***warning*** visitors must park in the blue lined spots at the upper part of the access road or floors 4, 5, or 6 of the garage). We had great food in Cinque Terre and enjoyed our two days there greatly. Don't expect to sleep in if your room faces the main road. Deliveries begin at 06:00 and there is a lot of noise. My sense is that most places in Riomaggiore (Cinque Terre) are not high end hotels and I was not expecting a Marriott, but overall, I was not impressed.

"Nice stay at Riomaggiore"

8.0

The room is clean and spacious as described. It is located at the top of the hill, with a balcony you may enjoy the view of the entire Riomaggiore. It could be tough if you carry a lot of luggage with you, but there is luggage storage service at the reception. Enjoying a wonderful seaview, the trade-off is there is no restaurants or bottle shops unless you down the hill. There is no WiFi coverage at the room, but only at the reception counter. Actually I don't really regard it a problem because you may relax and enjoy the beauty and peace of the village without distracted by internet. The staff is nice and helpful too. I'd recommend this room!

"Feedback"

4.0

There was a beautiful Cinque Terre view in the room. The share bath room was clean. However, the location of the hostel as shown in the map was only the office of the hostel. The actual location of the room was very far away from that with many many stairs. Not recommend for those who carry luggages.

"Clean room in the heart of Town"

6.0

I had a private room with private bathroom. Everything was super clean and check in was a breeze. Other than that, there was nothing special about the room for the price. Definitely worth it for a couple but not for a solo traveler trying to recuperate. There are cheaper places for that.

"Great Stay At The Top Of Riomaggiore"

6.0

The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and carried our bags along with some of the other people's up the many, many, many stairs. The view was amazing because you're almost at the top of Riomaggiore. However, that means the actual location where you check in, 25 Columbo, is basically at the bottom. We booked this thinking it would be closer to the train station and not so many steps. I enjoyed the hike and we're both young and in good shape, but beware if climbing up and down steep stairs is not your thing.
