Sea View - Hostel

Rummet vi fick först var fuktigt och luktade mögel. Vi sov där en natt, men redan vid incheckning lovades vi ett nytt rum till nästa natt, som vi också fick. Det nya rummet var mycket fräschare. Vi var tvungna att betala kontant, vilket vi inte visste om i förväg, men det löste sig. Plus för att nästan alla i personalen pratade engelska.

the hostel is actually located on upside of the hill that is different from the reception point indicated in map. no wifi in room but at reception. so we cannot use it. the overall was clean despite we have shared bathroom.

Die Anschrift des Hotels ist nicht identisch mit dem Zimmer, das man bekommt. Das Zimmer war schön, es war etwas außerhalb, was aber gut war. Wir hatten einen kleinen Garten. Das Bad teilten wir uns mit dem Nachbarzimmer, was aber nicht schlimm war. Allgemein war es sehr nett eingerichtet. Parkplätze sind teuer. Wir zahlten 20 € pro Nacht.

Riomaggiore is a great village to stay in. Take the boat trip as well as hike. If at the hostel (we got placed at a room closer to downtown), know it is hundreds of steps to the hostel. Owner and manager are great, friendly people.

地図上の位置は事務所だけ、部屋はそこから10分ほど階段を登ったところ。 案内人は鍵のみ持って先に行く。 現金払いのみ。カードが使用できません。 朝、10時半にならないと事務所に人が来ない。電車の都合がくずれる。 最低です。 こういう情報はどこで確認できるのか、Hotels．comにもお願いしたい。

Stairs and climbing stairs is part of the cinque terre experience and this is what we got at this hotel. It was good though. Clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom.

We stayed al long way from where it said on the map, but it was cool as it looked like it was someone's personal house. S we were living surrounded by locals. If you want to stay here, and want to be closer to the action I would suggest outlining this. Staff pleasant and friendly when they took us to our room.....approx 10 mins walk up hill to house. Close to the station however!

Quiet, comfortable room and breakfast in the garden were plusses. However, the property was actually far from the listed address, about an additional 15-20 minute climb with 20 kg backpacks. Not fun, and our guide insisted on chatting with friends while we sweated with our packs. Website was very misleading about "express check in" and any "hostel staff." It isn't a hostel but rather a spare room in a private home about a 15 minute walk from town.
